<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a tight corner braking phenomenon in a power transmission controller of a vehicle equipped with a transfer in which distributing torque is adjustable. <P>SOLUTION: A distributing torque Tc is adjusted by a multiple disk clutch mechanism provided in the transfer of a vehicle. When Tc is equal to 0, a two-wheeled drive state is attained, and when Tc is greater than 0, a four-wheeled drive state is attained. Tc is decided by multiplying a basic value Tc1 obtained based on accelerator opening and an engine speed by a correction gain G obtained based on a speed V, a rudder angle θs, and a road surface friction coefficient μ. When θs is equal to 0 (in going straight ahead), G is equal to 1 and Tc is equal to Tc1. When θs is greater than 0 (in turning), G is a value of 0<G<1, and as θs is greater, V is greater, and μ is greater, Tc is decided to be a smaller value.
