摘要 An illumination device is provided which has a simple construction that is good for mass production, and which achieves effective illumination with light showing little non-uniformity of colour. The illumination device comprises a plurality of multicolour light-emitting diodes (13a, 13b, 13c, 13d) which are equipped with LED chips (r, g, b, w) of a plurality of different light emission colours and are arranged on the same surface, and illumination is effected by mixing the light produced by this plurality of multicolour light-emitting diodes (13a, 13b, 13c, 13d). At least one of the plurality of multicolour light-emitting diodes (13a, 13b, 13c, 13d) has a positional relationship such that when the at least one multicolour light-emitting diode is positioned over another multicolour light-emitting diode due to parallel movement, the at least one multicolour light-emitting diode is turned by a predetermined angle on the basis of the other multicolour light-emitting diode in such a way that LED chips which emit the same colour are not positioned over one another.
