A cutting insert according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an upper surface; a lower surface; a side surface including a first side face and a second side face which are adjacent to each other and respectively connected to the upper surface and the lower surface; and a cutting blade including a main cutting edge positioned at the line of intersection between the upper surface and the first side face and an auxiliary cutting edge positioned at the line of intersection between the upper surface and the second side face. The upper surface includes a rake face positioned along the main cutting blade. The second side face includes a second upper clamping face and a second lower clamping face in this order from the upper surface to the lower surface. The second upper clamping face is inclined inward at an inclination angle of a1 from the central axis, and the second lower clamping face is connected to the second upper clamping face and inclined outward at an inclination angle of a2. Provided are a cutting tool comprising the cutting insert, and a method for producing a cut article using the cutting tool.
