摘要 <p>In conventional living radical polymerization methods using a conventional transition metal complex as a catalyst, when a reducing agent is used and the transition metal atoms of the transition metal complex are 30 ppm or less, an excess of a polydentate amine must be used on the transition metal in order to polymerize to a high monomer conversion ratio and obtain a polymer with a narrow molecular weight distribution. Although methods have been disclosed in which amine is added as a reducing agent and polymerization with at least a polydentate amine proceeds, reaction rates are slow and it is difficult to reach a high monomer conversion ratio. However, in a living radical polymerization method for a (meth) acrylic monomer using a transition metal complex as the catalyst, by using a combination of a polydentate amine (A), a base (B), and a reducing agent (C), the polymerization rate is fast and it is possible to achieve a high monomer conversion ration and obtain a polymer with a narrow molecular weight distribution by using copper atoms of 5 to 30 ppm in weight and 7 mmol % or less of the polydentate amine (A) in molar percentage relative to the total (meth) acrylic monomer preparation.</p>
