<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily group a display object into a group at a desired group level by simple gesture operation. <P>SOLUTION: An object selection unit 300 selects an object from among plural objects displayed on a display 101. A distance acquisition unit 305 acquires a remote control distance from a body to a screen of the display. A holding unit 309 holds association between the remote control distance and a group level.
