<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element capable of achieving a high photoelectric conversion efficiency and high durability in a photoelectric conversion element using metal complex system dye having a quater-pyridine system ligand, and to provide a photoelectrochemical battery using the same, and a photoelectric conversion element composition. <P>SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion element has a photoreceptor layer containing semiconductor fine particles sensitized by metal complex dye represented by the following general formula (1): M(LL<SP POS="POST">1</SP>)<SB POS="POST">m1</SB>(X)<SB POS="POST">m2</SB>-CI (1)(in the general formula (1), M represents a metal atom, X represents a specific unidentate or bidentate ligand, LL<SP POS="POST">1</SP>represents a specific multidentate ligand, m1 is one, m2 is zero to two, and CI represents a counter ion in the case that the counter ion is required for neutralizing an electric charge). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
