<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a metal particle-supported catalyst whose catalyst performance is improved from the viewpoints of activity improvement, lifetime extension and the like in comparison with a conventional metal particle-supported catalyst, the metal particle-supported catalyst, and a reaction method using the catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the metal particle-supported catalyst includes [1] a process for preparing a suspension A by adding a predetermined one or more metal ions to a first suspension obtained by dispersing a carrier substance, containing an ion exchanger, in a solvent, and supporting the metal ions on the carrier substance, [2] a process, following the process [1], for obtaining a second suspension by solid-liquid separating the suspension A for removing metal ions not supported on the carrier substance and dispersing the obtained solid phase in the solvent again, [3] a process, following the process [2], for preparing a metal particle-supported catalyst dispersion by mixing metal particles having a predetermined average particle diameter while controlling the temperature of the second suspension, and [4] a process for drying a metal particle-supported catalyst obtained from the metal particle-supported catalyst dispersion of the process [3]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
