<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polyurethane foam with good elongation, tensile strength and tear strength, and to provide a method for producing the polyurethane foam. <P>SOLUTION: The polyol component (A) for producing polyurethane foam contains a polyol composition (B) obtained by adding 1,2-alkylene oxide of 3-14 carbons to castor oil, wherein 60% or more of hydroxy group-containing groups locating at the terminal are primary hydroxy group-containing groups represented by general formula (1), and the hydroxyl value of the polyol composition is 60-180 mgKOH.
