<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a connection pipe from being connected aslant. <P>SOLUTION: An insertion type pipe joint 20 includes a joint body 30, an anti-come-off member 34, a holding member 36, an elastic member 38, an annular spacer 40, a fall prevention member 32 and a packing 44. The joint body 30 includes a receiving opening 60 and a passage 62 for inserting the connection pipe 100. On the inner circumferential surface of the passage 62, a tapered face 622 is provided. The anti-come-off member 34 is engaged with the outer circumferential surface thereof when the end of the connection pipe is inserted into the joint body 30. The holding member 36 holds the anti-come-off member 34. The elastic member 38 presses the anti-come-off member 34 onto the tapered face 622 of the passage 62. The spacer 40 holds the end of the elastic member 38. The fall prevention member 32 prevents the holding member 36 from coming off and falling from the joint body 30. The packing 44 comes close contact with the outer circumferential surface of the connection pipe.
