<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system, in a cellular telephone system, for providing broadcast services and for providing signaling to fully integrate broadcast services with the services provided by the cellular telephone systems. <P>SOLUTION: The signaling method enables: coordinating interaction between an access network and a subscriber station to allow the subscriber station to decode the broadcast service; receiving paging messages while receiving the broadcast service; properly transiting between operation states; and carrying out other functions known to one of ordinary skill in the art. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
