<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheath liquid for a particle analysis device to be used for a device for analyzing particles in a sample in which any deposition is hardly generated, and the metallic section of the device is hardly corroded. <P>SOLUTION: A sheath liquid for a particle analysis device, to be used for a device for analyzing particles in a sample, contains refractivity adjustor containing glycerine, sulfate, and sodium chloride and water.
