<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of inconsistencies between a state of an actual object in an image and an analysis result of the state of the object in the image while persistently detecting a new change in the image. <P>SOLUTION: This imaging processing device makes an object resting for a long time in an image into a background object and then produces shape information and lapse time information on the background object as background object information and stores it into a background object storage part 420.
