PURPOSE: Provided are a battery, and a device which is used in the battery and capable of treating more inorganic particles, and a method for producing the device. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises at least microporous sheet consisting of inorganic particles, optionally conductive particles, a polymer having high molecular weight, and a hydrocarbon-containing compound. When used for anode and separator, the microporous sheet comprises 80-99.9 wt.% of inorganic, possibly conductive particle, 0.1-20.0 wt.% of polyolefin having high molecular weight, 0-20.0 wt.% of polymer. When used for cathode comprising 0.1-1.9 wt.% of polyolefin compound having high molecular weight, the microporous sheet comprises 80-99.9 wt.% of inorganic, optionally conductive particle and 0-20 wt.% of polymer. When used for cathode comprising 1.9-20 wt.% of polyolefin compound having high molecular weight, the microporous sheet comprises 80-98 wt.% of inorganic, optionally conductive particle and 0.1-20 wt.% of polymer.
