NET TYPE SIEVE TRAY FOR WET SCRUBBER AND DESULFURIZATION DEVICE OF FLUE GAS

PURPOSE: A net type sieve tray for wet scrubber and desulfurization device of flue gas is provided to decrease pressure loss while maintaining high contact area between flue gas and washing liquid, thereby reducing electric power required to operate induce fan. CONSTITUTION: A net type sieve(9) having cell size 10mm is made by stainless wire, and five net type sieves are piled up being crossed each other in a scrubbing tower. Three trays of the net type sieve are installed in the scrubbing tower. Herein, slurry is injected into the scrubbing tower through a spray nozzle, and washing liquid stored in the lower tank of the scrubbing tower is adjusted with Mg(OH)2 to the pH range of 5.9 to 6.1. Under those operation conditions, desulfurization efficiency recorded 95-99%. Herein, the concentration of the adsorbent (MgSO4) is 5wt.%.
