METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING BANDSAW BLADE, AND BANDSAW BLADE

A method for manufacturing a bandsaw blade provided at the top of the teeth with cutting tips comprising a hard material. The method comprises the steps of: offsetting to the left and right saw teeth constituting left and right offset teeth (7, 9); forming the saw teeth constituting the left and right offset teeth (7, 9) to a smaller tooth height than that of the saw teeth constituting straight teeth (5); and whetting cutting tips (13, 15) provided to the top of the left and right offset teeth (7, 9) subsequent to the offsetting step, and machining the edge lines (13A, 15A) at the top of the left and right offset teeth (7, 9) so that the lines are orthogonal to the travel direction (A) of a bandsaw blade (1) and the cutting direction (B) of the bandsaw blade.
