Provided is a sashimi chopping board that allows even a person who is not an expert, such as a chef, to cleanly and easily cut fillets into approximately the same size (surface area) and thickness for sashimi, when the fillet is cut at an angle. A rib part (21) is integrated onto the upper surface of a chopping board (20) and multiple angle-setting slots (22), which insert the tip of a knife (1) into the rib part (21), are formed across the rib part (21) at intervals that correspond to the thickness of a sliced portion of sashimi. The vertical tilt of the angle setting slots (22) is at an angle of inclination (a) relative to a vertical base line (24) that increases towards the tail end (17b) of a fillet (17) when the fillet (17) is put on the upper surface of the chopping board (20) in such a manner that the head end (17a) is on the right hand side. The horizontal tilt of the angle setting slots (22) is at an angle of inclination (ß) relative to a horizontal base line (25) that increases towards the tail end (17b) of the fillet (17).
|
