<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge for concentrating and collecting nucleic acids, operable by simple operation, and concentrating and collecting the nucleic acids in a short time in high efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The cartridge 1 for concentrating and collecting the nucleic acids includes: a channel 11 enabling a liquid to be introduced; polymer gel 14 arranged at a prescribed position of the channel 11; and electrodes arranged at both terminals of the channel 11. In the cartridge, the nucleic acids are concentrated at the vicinity of the polymer gel 14 by applying a voltage between both the terminals of the channel 11 to carry out the electrophoresis of the nucleic acids introduced between the polymer gel 14 and the negative pole 13 electrode, and intercepting the nucleic acids moving to the positive pole 12 terminal by the polymer gel 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
