<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control apparatus of a vehicle driving device that reduces the time required for stopping an engine during traveling and reduces the shock to be generated when the engine is stopped. <P>SOLUTION: The control apparatus includes a first motor MG1 coupled to a crankshaft 14 of an engine 12; a capacity reduction controller 66 that reduces a reverse-drive capacity coefficient C of a torque converter 16 in response to a request to stop the engine 12 when a shift position of an automatic transmission 18 is in a forward automatic speed change position and the vehicle is traveling; and an engine stop controller 68 that controls the first motor MG1 so as to stop the rotation of the engine 12 while the reverse-drive capacity coefficient C of the torque converter 16 is reduced by the capacity reduction controller 66. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
