<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Y-shaped strainer attachable/detachable a scraping mechanism and a driving mechanism to/from the existing strainer body readily and surely, mountable of components such as a scraping mechanism even when the interval of a tube end of the inclined part and a ground contact surface is scarce, and applicable, especially, to a strainer of from a middle diameter to a large diameter, and also to a strainer for high pressure liquid treatment. <P>SOLUTION: The Y-shaped strainer is constructed as follows. Inside the inclined tube of the strainer body comprising a straight-tube having an opening and an inclined tube having a flange at the end part, a cylindrical element screen and a scraping mechanism is tentatively installed to the flange via a holding member. On the other hand, a lid body having a manual mechanism is fixed at the flange by means of bolt/nuts together with the holding member, and at the same time, the rotation axis of the scraping mechanism and the driving axis of the driving mechanism are connected via the connecting member.
