<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a halved slide bearing with a newly-structured positioning member and manufacturing method of the same. <P>SOLUTION: If allowing a part of formation material of the bearing body 13 pressed by narrowing a width of a tool to escape outside the tool, the positioning member 20 will be able to ensure its projection length required for performing its own function (i.e., projection length from the outer circumferential surface of the bearing body 13), while controlling a circumferential deformation volume in the formation material of the bearing body 13. The positioning member 20 of the halved slide bearing formed in this way is equipped with a flat part 21a and a protrusion 22, where the tip of the protrusion 22 is located on a mating face side opposite to virtual flat surface including the flat part 21a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
