<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an organic electroluminescent element where dissolution of a lower layer during coating of an upper layer is restrained and a solution for the organic electroluminescent element. <P>SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, there is provided a method for manufacturing an organic electroluminescent element which includes an anode layer, a cathode layer, a luminescent layer disposed between the anode and the cathode layers, and an intermediate layer disposed between the luminescent and the cathode layers. The manufacturing method comprises a step of forming the luminescent layer on top of the anode layer by applying thereto a coating of a first solution containing a first organic material and a second organic material, and a step of forming the intermediate layer on top of the luminescent layer by applying thereto a coating of a second solution containing a low molecular second organic material and a second solvent containing an acetylene alcohol-group surface active agent and having a lower solubility parameter than that of a first solvent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
