<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make replacement work of a label with mount efficient. <P>SOLUTION: The printing medium holder includes a housing and holding section and a winding-shaft holding section, and the printing medium holder is detachably attached to the member holding section of the printing apparatus. The housing and holding section houses and holds a printing medium with a mount member wound in a roll shape, the mount member of which is wound by rotation of a mount winding shaft member. The winding-shaft holding section detachably holds the mount winding shaft member.
