摘要 <p>A manufacturing technology for an electronic display device, especially a novel medium-free tripolar field emitter comprises a cathode grid base plate (11) and an anode base plate (16) which work in coordination with each other, and it is characterized in that the field emitter is of a medium-free tripolar structure, wherein the cathode grid base plate is provided thereon with a plurality of strip electrodes parallel to one another, with each strip electrode being formed by sequentially stacking two or more layers of electrode, in which the bottom layer is a metal oxide conductive film electrode (12), the top layer is a metal or conductive metal particle electrode (13), and the metal oxide conductive film electrode has edges in a zigzag or rectangular shape (15), with a field emission material (14) provided at the edge of the metal oxide conductive film electrode or an electron conducting layer provided in the gap between two metal oxide conductive film electrodes; and the anode base plate is provided thereon with an anode electrode (17) and a phosphor powder layer (18). The field emitter is not only advantageous in enhancing the edge emission effects of the electrodes, enhancing the regulation functions of the electrodes, and reducing the threshold electric field for field emissions, but also has a simple manufacturing process, making it easy to produce.</p>
