<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution of an air intake fan and a projector capable of maintaining air intake performance and low noise at low cost even when the region of an air filter is clogged. <P>SOLUTION: The projector 1 includes an opening 11 formed on an external housing 10, an air intake fan 5 taking in outside air from the opening 11, and a filter unit 4 installed to face the opening 11 and removing dust in the outside air which is taken in.
