<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone system capable of leaving a message without using automatic telephone answering services of a mobile terminal carrier or the like, a method of storing voice mail, and a main unit of the telephone system. <P>SOLUTION: The telephone system includes: a main unit 1; a first telephone 2 connected to the main unit 1 through an extension line 3; a second telephone 6 connected to the main unit 1 through a public line 4; and a voice mail part 7 in which communication information to the second telephone 6 from the first telephone 2 is transferred and voice mail left from a user of the first telephone 2 to a user of the second telephone 6 is stored. When the main unit 1 determines that the second telephone 6 cannot respond to the call from the first telephone 2, the main unit 1 stops the connection processing to the second telephone 6 from the first telephone 2 and stores the voice mail left to the user of the second telephone 6 from the user of the first telephone 2 in the voice mail part 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
