<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder device provided with an inexpensive sheet feeder which hardly causes double feed for many types of sheets, and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A paper feed cassette of the image forming apparatus includes a sheet receptacle and a pair of width adjustment cursor portions 120a, 120b. A cassette feeder of the image forming apparatus includes a plurality of rollers 61a, 61c, a plurality of roller holders 140a, 140c, and a plurality of roller biasing members 150a, 150c. An upper end 120t is configured so that, in an installation state where the paper feed cassette is installed on a feeder housing, at least one of the roller holders 140a, 140c is moved upward in an arrowed direction Z to attain a noncontact state where at least one of the pickup rollers 61a, 61c does not come in contact with a topmost sheet of paper Tt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
