<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water storage block for constructing a revetment and a revetment using the same, which can reduce a risk of collapsing by increasing a self-weight of the revetment with rainwater stored inside a box type hollow block in a rainy condition and can reduce a load acting on a foundation by emptying the box type hollow block in a clear condition. <P>SOLUTION: In a water storage block 2 for constructing revetment, which is a box type hollow block comprising a frame body 21 and a base plate 22, the frame body 21 is constructed by a front wall 211 which serves as a front surface of a revetment, a back wall 212 which is positioned at a slope side, and left and right side walls 213 connecting the front wall 211 and the back wall 212. The back wall 212 has an inflow opening 212a and the front wall 211 has an overflow outlet 211a to maintain a constant water level inside a water storage block 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
