<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display in which size of a picture frame can be narrowed and a rise in product prices can be suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display comprises: a plurality of signal lines 16; a plurality of scan lines s; a plurality of pixel electrodes; a first drive circuit 11 and a second drive circuit 12; and an array substrate 1 having a timing control circuit 70. The first drive circuit 11 has a first sequential circuit and gives scan signals to a plurality of scan lines of odd rows in turn. The second drive circuit 12 has a second sequential circuit and gives scan signals to a plurality of scan lines s of even rows in turn. The timing control circuit 70 gives a first synchronous signal and a second synchronous signal having mutually different phases generated by the timing control circuit 70 to the first drive circuit 11 and the second drive circuit 12. When receiving the first synchronous signal and the second synchronous signal from the timing control circuit 70, the first drive circuit 11 and the second drive circuit 12 give a scan signal to the plurality of scan lines s by each row in turn. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
