<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backing material for an ultrasonic probe in which an attenuation factor of a needless ultrasonic wave radiated backward from an ultrasonic vibrator which constitutes an ultrasonic probe is high, and which in addition, has an appropriate acoustic impedance and is excellent in a yield during dicing, and an ultrasonic probe using the same and ultrasonic medical image diagnosis device using it. <P>SOLUTION: The backing material for ultrasonic probes is provided behind an ultrasonic vibrator constituting an ultrasonic probe, and attenuates an ultrasonic wave radiated backward from the ultrasonic vibrator. In the backing material for ultrasonic probes, the backing material contains a base material and a filler mixture, and as the filler mixture, contains a filler composite particle where an elastomer and a filler are compounded at least, and where an average particle diameter of the filler composite particle is within the range of 50-200 μm, and among the filler composite particles, the content of a micro-particle with a particle size of 30 μm or less is not more than 20 vol%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
