<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual assistance system for a vehicle, which reliably notifies a driver of obstacles existing in the dead angles of the driver generated in the rear parts of A pillars of the vehicle, and also to provide the vehicle provided with the same. <P>SOLUTION: A visual assistance system (100) for a vehicle includes: a camera (20) acquiring primary image data; a controller (30) converting the primary image data in viewpoint so as to generate secondary image data viewed from a driver, and preparing left side A pillar image data corresponding to a left side A pillar when viewed from the driver and right side A pillar image data corresponding to a right side A pillar; and at least one image display device (40) displaying a first portion of the secondary image data corresponding to a left side dead angle region and left side dead angle circumferential regions together with the transparently superimposed left side A pillar image data, and also displaying a second portion of the secondary image data corresponding to a right side dead angle region and right side dead angle circumferential regions together with the transparently superimposed right side A pillar image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
