<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the jam of paper by correctly discharging a print into a paper receiving part. <P>SOLUTION: A printer includes a first lever member 17 which performs switching to one of a position where the print discharged from a paper discharge port 25 can be conveyed to the paper receiving part 24 and a position where chips can be conveyed to a chip storage part 22a. according to a turning position, a second lever member 15 coming into contact with the print discharged from the paper discharge port 25, to be turned, and a paper detection part 19 for detecting the turning position of the second lever member 15. The printer includes a determination means determining whether the chip storage part 22a is full of chips or not according to the result of detecting the second lever 15 whose turning is regulated in such a state that the print whose conveyance to the paper receiving part 24 is stopped by the first lever member 17 whose turning is regulated via the chips which are not stored in the chip storage part 22a is brought into contact with the second lever member 15, via the paper detection part 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
