<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array structure of a core-shell type quantum dot capable of actuating a resonator polariton state at room temperature. <P>SOLUTION: A core-shell type quantum dot 11 has a semiconductor core 1, and a shell 2 formed around and in contact with the core 1.
