<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk array device capable of improving reliability. <P>SOLUTION: A first control unit monitors a temperature of a battery. If the temperature of the battery is a predetermined temperature or higher, the first control unit transmits a command for a first fan device to be rotated with high speed to a second control unit, while if the temperature of the battery is lower than the predetermined temperature, the first control unit transmits a command for the first fan device to be rotated with normal speed to the second control unit. Upon receiving the command for the first fan device to be rotated with high speed, the second control unit rotates the first fan device with high speed, while upon receiving the command for the first fan device to be rotated with normal speed, the second control unit rotates the first fan device with normal speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
