<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for identifying a roll causing rolling flaws, which identifies a roll causing rolling flaws in the occurrence of the rolling flaw in a short time, and also determines the rolling flaw with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The method for identifying a roll causing rolling flaws, detects a roll flaw periodically occurring on the surface of a steel sheet, which is caused by a finishing mill roll, in a hot rolling line including a finishing mill comprising a plurality of stands so as to identify the roll causing the detected rolling flaw. The method for identifying a roll causing rolling flaws, includes: a step of a rolling flaw occurrence condition; a step of determining a surface flaw; a step of calculating the occurrence pitch of the flaw; a comparison step of comparing the cycle of the flaw on the outlet side with the occurrence pitch; a cause roll identification step of identifying a roll causing the roll flaw with which a milling roll is detected if there is a corresponding flaw cycle on the outlet side; and a non-roll flaw determination step of determining that a detected roll flow is a non-roll flow if there is not the corresponding flaw cycle on the outlet side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
