<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low dielectric polyester resin, an insulating tape for a flat cable, having high flame retardancy and a low dielectric constant, and an flexible flat cable produced by using the insulating tape for a flat cable. <P>SOLUTION: The low dielectric polyester resin is formed by copolymerizing an acid component containing isophthalic acid or/and an isophthalic acid derivative, with a polyol component containing 2, 2-alkyl-1, 3-propanediol and a straight chain alkylene glycol, the insulating tape for a flexible flat cable has an insulating layer and a flame retardant adhesive layer whose base resin is mainly made of the low dielectric polyester resin, and the flexible flat cable is fabricated by holding and interposing conductors arranged in parallel between the adhesive layers of the insulating tapes for the flat cable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
