PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road meteorology detection method and a detection system, capable of detecting continuously meteorological quantities along a road. SOLUTION: This method is characterized by installing meteorological sensors 5 on many spots along the road, binding interpolation faces relative to each meteorological quantity, by using the meteorological quantities, measured by the meteorological sensors and wide-area meteorological data around the road, and continuously estimating the meteorological quantities on the road from the interpolation faces.
