<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool which efficiently recovers dust or the like without leaving it in a cut groove and which adapts to various surfaces to be cut having different directions, angles or undulations, and which has good operability. <P>SOLUTION: The cutting tool includes: a cutter body 5 which is used in such an uppercut state that a cutter edge 3 acts on the surface to be cut, upward from below toward the traveling direction thereof; a circular fitting block 21 which is fit, in a fixed state, to a fitting base 14 of a fitting chuck 4 to which the cutter edge 3 of the cutter body 2 is fit; a full-coverage cover body 23 which is fit to the fitting block 21 to be freely turned and slid; and a guide plate 25 which is fit to the opened bottom surface of the cover body 23. A dust collection route 31 is formed inside the cover body 23, the dust collection route 31 being configured to guide the dust or the like P from a suction port 27 which is arranged in the cover body 23 at the forward lower portion thereof in a traveling direction Y of the cutting tool 2, to a discharge port 29 which is arranged in the cover body 23 at the backward lower portion thereof in the traveling direction Y. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
