<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muscle training device wherein bounce of an expansion/contraction member having cut does not strike a foot when the elastic expansion/contraction member installed to a foot placing member has cut. <P>SOLUTION: In the muscle training device, one side of the expansion/contraction member having elasticity and flexibility, having a prescribed length, and having a string-like, strip-like, tubular, or other shape is mounted to a prescribed part of the foot placing member having a foot placing part on which one foot is placed, on the upper face. The other side of the expansion/contraction member is formed with a foot hooking part having a means for hooking the other foot.
