A liquid detector (1) is provided with: a plurality of optical fibers (11A, 11B, 11C), which are provided with bent portions, respectively; light emitting elements (12A, 12B, 12C), each of which is provided on each of the optical fibers (11A, 11B, 11C), and inputs light to one end of each of the optical fibers (11A, 11B, 11C), said light corresponding to electrical signals inputted from the outside; and light receiving elements (13A, 13B, 13C), each of which is provided on each of the optical fibers (11A, 11B, 11C), and outputs, to the outside, electrical signals that correspond to light outputted from the other end of each of the optical fibers (11A, 11B, 11C). The bent radiuses (Ra, Rb, Rc) of the bent portions of the optical fibers (11A, 11B, 11C) are set corresponding to the refractive indexes of liquids to be detected by respective optical fibers. |
