The method involves performing an electromagnetic reforming process for non-positively and positively connecting a component (1) e.g. hollow body (4), and another component (2) e.g. outer metal ring (5), of a dosing system. Magnetic force (7) is symmetrically and/or uniformly applied into the latter component by an electromagnetic coil (6) such that the latter component is symmetrically and/or uniformly deformed. The electromagnetic coil is arranged at an external peripheral-side around the metal ring. An independent claim is also included for a dosing system for feeding aqueous urea solution into an exhaust line of a motor vehicle, comprising a reducing agent supply tank.
