<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interference reducing method capable of reducing the interference between carriers to allow utilization of full frequency even near a cell edge. <P>SOLUTION: When an interference signal that causes the interference between carriers is detected, a mobile station 14 reports the fact to a base station 12-1 which is in communication (S100). The base station 12-1 sequentially requests temporary suspension of radio transmission from adjoining base stations 12-2 and 12-3 until the fact that the interference signal power has reduced is reported from the mobile station 14 (S102 and S110). When the electric power of interference signal that is detected reduces, the mobile station 14 reports the amount of reduction to the base station 12-1 (S116). Here, the base station 12-1 estimates that a base station 12-3 who has requested temporary suspension of radio transmission just before S116 is the originator of the interference signal detected by the mobile station 14. The base station 12-1 then requests the base station 12-3 to reduce a transmission power by such amount as reported in S116 (S118). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
