<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sugar chain array, to which a sugar chain is fixed, and which is useful for detection of coupling between a substance to be detected and the sugar chain, and to provide the sugar chain array to which the sugar chain is fixed, which can suppress nonspecific adsorption, coupling of the substance to be detected without coating an adsorption prevention agent. <P>SOLUTION: It is discovered that the sugar chain array, which is developed by inventors, and to which a specific sugar chain is fixed is useful for the detection of the coupling between the substance such as a pathogen of an infection disease and its secretion to be detected. It is further discovered that, when a base material coated by a high molecular compound containing a unit having a primary amino group, a unit for holding hydrophilicity, and a unit having a hydrophobic group is used in the sugar chain array, the sugar chain can be efficiently fixed, and the nonspecific adsorption, coupling of the substance to be detected can be effectively suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
