<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily identify the source document of each image even when the image is generated by batch scanning a plurality of types of documents. <P>SOLUTION: An information input system for inputting image information to another system handling the image information comprises: a main control unit 110 which obtains a plurality of pieces of image information generated by reading a plurality of documents; a document information generation unit 160 which retains numbers for identifying the documents sheet by sheet, obtains a number retained as a document identification number for identifying the source document of the obtained image sheet by sheet whenever the image information is obtained, and associates and outputs the plurality of pieces of the obtained image information and the document numbers obtained with respect to each of the pieces of image information; and a data server 3 for storing the pieces of the output image information and the output document numbers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
