<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field instrument allowing much pieces of information to be displayed at a time within a limited screen of a data display part. <P>SOLUTION: A field instrument 100, which comprises a data display part 101 for displaying internal data, converts the internal data into two-dimensional bar code information 101A and displays the internal data in the data display part. Data contained in the two-dimensional bar code information includes instrument information (a manufacturer, instrument tag name, instrument type, instrument revision, and so on), measurement value, and alarm information. The field instrument displays the converted two-dimensional bar code information 101A on a screen of the data display part 101 which has the same configuration as the conventional one, and reads the two-dimentional bar code information 101A by performing imaging by a two-dimensional bar code reader 200. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
