<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air assist bicycle which supplies air only when necessary in correspondence not only to a pedaling force but also to a rotation position of a pedal crank in assisting a rider, thus reducing air consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The air assist bicycle includes a regulator 30 which opens and closes a valve 24 in correspondence to a pedaling force applied to pedals 9L and 9R, and a distributor 70 which opens and closes the valve in correspondence to a rotation position of the pedal crank 7.
