<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body side portion structure capable of reducing the weight of a side sill by efficiently transmitting (dispersing) a load working from the front of a vehicle body to a door (door beam). <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle body side portion structure 10 includes a front hinge 14 supporting a front door 15. The front hinge includes a front mounting portion 37 provided to the vehicle body 11. The front mounting portion includes a front receiving portion 42 bulging outward in the vehicle width direction. Further, a load transmission member 28 is provided to the front receiving portion at the front side of the vehicle body. By the load transmission member receiving an input load F1, the load transmission member is allowed to move to between the front receiving portion and a front edge 52a of the front door beam 52.
