<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a versatile machining device which reliably supports a tool holder, efficiently and highly accurately machines a plurality of hole parts of a workpiece. <P>SOLUTION: The machining device 10 includes the tool holder 36 for machining an inner peripheral surface of the hole part 26 of the workpiece W by a cutting tool, and a support mechanism 42 provided in the tool holder 36 and inserted into the inner peripheral surface of the machined hole part 26 to support the next machining of the hole part 26 by the cutting tool. The support mechanism 42 includes: a first fluid bearing 76 formed between an outer peripheral surface of the tool holder 36 and the support member; a second fluid bearing 80 formed between a ring member 78 for permitting rotation and axial movement of the tool holder 36 and an outer peripheral surface of the ring member 78; and a support member 82 which is enlarged or protrudes outward in the radial direction of the tool holder 36 to be pressed to the inner peripheral surface of the machined hole part 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
