<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular display device which displays a warning image which is easily recognized by a viewer, and indicates the position of an object to be detected in a detection area. <P>SOLUTION: A night-view system 100 displays a warning image 2 in a projection area 10 defined on a vehicle windscreen 9 in order to warn a driver about an object to be detected which exists in the detection area 6 ahead of a vehicle. A night-view control circuit 20 divides the detection area 6 into a plurality of sub-sections according to the direction and the distance relative to the vehicle so as to detect the object to be detected at each section. The night-view control circuit 20 correlates the display position of the warning image 2 in the projection area 10 with the relative position of the object to be detected with respect to the vehicle. A display 40 controlled by the night-view control circuit 20 displays the warning image 2 for the object to be detected onto the projection position in the horizontal and vertical direction in the projection area 10 correlated by the night-view control circuit 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
