PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide joints for a steel sheet pile constituted to satisfy both driving property and cut-off property of the steel sheet pile even in the coated state of a cut-off material for cutting off water, without changing the essential shape of the joints. SOLUTION: The joints 2a, 2b for the steel sheet pile 1 is provided at the side parts of the steel sheet pile 1 along its longitudinal direction. Chamfer parts 4 are formed at the longitudinal end parts of the joints 2a, 2b. The chamfer parts 4 are formed in tapered shape or round shape at least on one end side of one joint 2a and at least on the other end side of the other joint 2b respectively.
