medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves setting scattering and absorbing plates from tissue- equivalent material of Z cm thickness between electron-emitting source and patient. Z value is calculated from formula Z= (A-B)/(0.3(F-C)), where A is the required irradiation field size in cm, B is the maximum permissible size of irradiation field on the patient body surface for the electron-emitting source, F is the distance from the electron-emitting source to the patient body surface in cm, C is the distance from the scattering plate source in cm, 0.3 numeric coefficient. The patient is covered with flexible tissue-equivalent material of Y cm thickness calculated as Y=0.6 + 0.5D, where D is the pathological process propagation depth in cm, 0.6 and 0.5 are the numeric coefficients. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; uniform irradiation of skin.
